I have a coil and I observe bleeding after intercourse - is this normal?
Hello.I put the spiral in February 2024.For the last 2 weeks there was blood during sex.After sex there was no blood, but my stomach hurt a little.Is this a manifestation of something serious?

In the case of increasing or repeated bleeding during intercourse, you should see a gynaecologist to assess the location of the IUD. Depending on the type of coil, some patients sometimes observe increased bleeding (non-hormonal coils).
