Bleeding when using mini birth control pills such as Vibin mini is a fairly common occurrence that can have several causes.
Vibin mini is a single-component tablet (mini-pill) that contains only progestin. This type of pill is more likely to cause irregular bleeding than combined pills. Mini-pills are very sensitive to the temporal accuracy of ingestion. Even a 2-3 hour delay can lead to bleeding.
Bleeding may be more frequent in the first months of use and this is related to the shift of the hormonal axis to birth control pills. For many women, the situation stabilizes after about 3 months. Stress, weight changes or smoking can also intensify spotting.
If the bleeding is gentle and does not cause discomfort, you can continue taking the tablets. If the bleeding is heavy or persists for a long time, please consult your doctor. He or she may suggest a change to a different type of pills, e.g. two-component (if there are no contraindications).
Remember that despite the bleeding, if you take the pills regularly, their contraceptive effectiveness is maintained.
If you have doubts about this situation, it is always worth consulting a doctor who can provide more personalized advice. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
