I received Azyter drops from my ophthalmologist with the information to take them for 6-7 days, 1 drop 3 times a day (for conjunctivitis). On the leaflet I read that it is not necessary to use the drops for more than 3 days. I'm wondering what to do, because itching, burning and blurred vision after using the drops make it very difficult for me to function. Today I am turning 3rd, can I stop taking the drug and its action will actually be effective as stated in the leaflet? (I don't have a doctor's appointment until next week).

I suggest using the drug in accordance with medical indications, even if the treatment is longer than the recommendations in the leaflet. The doctor may prescribe a different procedure for the use of drugs than the manufacturer, which results, for example, from clinical experience or the patient's health condition. Patients may observe transient discomfort after the use of eye medications. If the described symptoms persist for more than a few minutes after the instillation, it is worth consulting a doctor.
