The side effects of Nopregy include menstrual cycle disorders, often delayed menstruation by more than 7 days. If the bleeding is delayed for more than 5 days, a pregnancy test is recommended. A pregnancy test 10-14 days after intercourse should already give a reliable result, if you have done it before, I encourage you to take the test again.
Nopregy is an emergency contraception that can be used after unprotected sex or if the contraceptive method is unsuccessful. The drug should be used for up to 72 hours (3 days), and the earlier it is taken, the greater its effectiveness. It is best to take it within 12 hours of intercourse.
The mechanism of action of the drug is to inhibit or delay ovulation. If the intercourse and drug intake took place before ovulation, its effectiveness is high and amounts to 84%.
