Hello, I am taking Xanax on a regular basis in the amount of 2mg a day (1mg in the morning, 1mg in the evening) today I was given an orthoton 750mg drug for severe back pains (Methocarbamol), I have to take it before bedtime. Can I combine these two drugs? Will there be any side effects? Best regards

The combination of Xanax and methocarbamol may lead to an increased risk of side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty concentrating. Some patients (especially the elderly) may also develop disorders in thinking, judgment and motor coordination.
If you experience any of the side effects, report it to your doctor.
If the preparations have been prescribed by one doctor, you should stick to their dosage schedule.
During the visit, it is worth informing the doctor about all the medications you are taking. Thanks to this, the specialist will choose the best and safest possible therapy.
