If you started taking Slinda on day 1 of your cycle (i.e. on day 1 of your period), your contraceptive effectiveness is maintained from the start of the pill and there is no need for additional protection. Otherwise, you should use additional contraception for the first 7 days.

Single-component tablets have fewer interactions with medicinal products than preparations containing oestrogens. Slinda does not cause an increased need for Euthyrox. It can also be used with Carzap, although it is a good idea to take these preparations at different times of the day. It is worth doing control blood tests (also assessing the level of thyroid hormones) about 3 months after starting to use contraceptive pills.
