Clinical studies indicate a weight reduction of 15-20% after 72 weeks of treatment. The antidiabetic effect is observed from the beginning of the treatment.

Side effects of Mounjaro are particularly common in gastrointestinal disorders (e.g. heartburn, reflux, indigestion). There were also reports of increased hair loss and a feeling of excessive fatigue during the treatment. Side effects can occur at any time while using this drug, but this does not mean that every patient will develop such a problem.

Mounjaro is a new generation drug, therefore it is subject to additional monitoring. Any abnormalities observed during treatment should be reported to the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products.
