How long does it take to expect the drug to take effect? Bioracef?

I've been taking bioracef for pharyngitis for the third day now and it doesn't help, the temperature is 37.6. What to do or wait?

Bioracef is the brand name for cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic that is used to treat various bacterial infections such as sinusitis, urinary tract infections, skin infections, pharyngitis and tonsillitis, and other infections.

Cefuroxime begins to be absorbed into the bloodstream within a few hours after taking an oral dose. Patients may begin to experience symptom relief within 24-48 hours after starting treatment, though this can be a longer time depending on the severity of the infection.
Most patients experience significant improvement within a few days. It is important to complete a full course of antibiotic treatment, even if symptoms disappear sooner. Usually, the course lasts from 7 to 14 days, depending on the doctor's recommendations. Do not stop treatment and continue to use the antibiotic as prescribed by your doctor.
