How long do bowel problems last after Pylera therapy?

I finished the therapy with Pylera 1 month ago, but the intestines and gastritis are in very bad condition. The shape of the stool is not normal, with constipation and I go to the bathroom every 5 days. How long do bowel problems last?

After Pylera therapy has ended, some patients may experience persistent gastrointestinal problems for some time. The duration of these complaints can vary from person to person, but they usually resolve gradually over a few weeks to a few months after treatment ends.

Persistent bowel problems, such as constipation, abnormal stool shape, or infrequent bowel movements, can be caused by an imbalance in the gut microflora. The antibiotics in Pylera can disrupt the natural bacterial flora of the intestines, which can lead to digestive problems.

To support the recovery process, you can consider using probiotics containing strains:

* Lactobacillus reuteri: This is a strain of probiotic bacteria that studies show may be effective against Helicobacter pylori infection.

Helicogastim: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/112638/helicogastrin-kapsulki/apteki

* Saccharomyces boulardii: This probiotic yeast is often recommended during the eradication of H. pylori.

Enterol: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27293/enterol-250-kapsulki/apteki

* Lactobacillus salivarius LA 302 and Lactobacillus plantarum LA 301: These strains are contained in Lactibiane H-Py, which is specifically formulated to aid in the treatment of H. pylori infections. They can help restore normal intestinal flora.

If the problem of constipation recurs frequently, then the use of milder means to restore the rhythm of bowel movements, e.g. with macrogol or lactulose, m.in, should be considered.
