Will birth control pills work if I have taken an antibiotic on the 8th day after starting to take it?

I started 8 days ago the contraceptive pill but on Wednesday I got the flu and on Thursday I took the antibiotic cefixoral I took it for 2 days because after that I had full unprotected intercourse and I don't know if the pill works anyway

It is believed that some antibiotics may reduce the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill by altering the absorption of active substances.
