According to the information about the drug: "Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them. Occasionally, a hypersensitivity reaction may occur, drying out of the rectal mucous membranes. If adverse effects occur, the drug should be discontinued."
No other side effects, such as a red face, have been reported when using this preparation.
