Amitriptyline often (up to 1 in 10 patients) causes paresthesia, which is manifested by unusual sensation in the limbs - tingling, numbness, stinging, a feeling of heat, sometimes burning, and even a feeling of running electricity. Amitriptyline is used in the prevention of migraine, i.e. it reduces the frequency of migraine attacks.

Propranolol rarely causes paresthesia and is also used in the prevention of migraine.

If you associate the occurrence of the described effects with taking medications, you should report it. Reporting side effects allows you to gather more information about the safety of medicines and update data on them, which can help other patients in the future. We wrote about how to report them here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane

Adverse drug reactions can also be reported individually: https://www.urpl.gov.pl/pl/produkty-lecznicze/monitorowanie-bezpieczeństwa-leków/zg moose-side-effect-0

I attach other helpful studies:

User questions and answers that provide feedback about products are not verified for the purchase or use of the product. Companies often order anonymous comments to form positive opinions about their products, or negative ones about competitors. Therefore, be guided by the information in the pharmacists' responses in the first place.
