Sorbifer Durules is an iron preparation used to treat and prevent iron deficiency anemia. Discontinuation of this drug should not directly delay menstruation. Nevertheless, there are several factors that can affect the regularity of your menstrual cycle, and iron deficiency may be one of them.
If you had low iron levels and stopped treatment, it is possible that the iron levels in your body have dropped again. Iron deficiency can affect your overall health and cause fatigue, weakness, and other symptoms that can indirectly affect your menstrual cycle.
