Side effects may occur while taking Encorton, including those related to mental disorders. These include symptoms of schizophrenia, mania or delirium, which occur in 15 to 50% of patients.
The occurrence of these types of side effects is dose-dependent, and is more common in people taking 40 mg of prednisone per day.
Please remember that short-term use of prednisone, like other corticosteroids, only exceptionally leads to side effects. If you experience these types of side effects while taking the drug, you should report it to your doctor, who will decide on further treatment.
