Alphagan i Biprolast to zamienniki, ponieważ zawierają tę samą substancję czynną - brimonidynę w analogicznym stężeniu 2 mg/ml. Preparaty te są zatem odpowiednikami i mogą być zamiennie wydaje w aptece. Zamienniki mogą różnić się substancjami pomocniczymi, ale akurat w tym przypadku nie wydaje się, aby były takie różnice.

Oba też są refundowane, jeśli więc posiada Pan receptę zniżkową wykupując zamiennik nie straci Pan prawa do zniżki.
