Good afternoon! I started taking Mounjaro, pain in the lower abdomen began. Then the discharge began, as with menstruation, but with different sensations. Please tell me, can this drug cause a violation and failure in the cycle? Or do I need to see a doctor urgently?

Among the side effects of Mounjaro, no effect on the menstrual cycle is reported.
It is true, however, that along with the regulation of blood sugar levels and weight loss, irregular spotting or bleeding may appear.
Side effects observed should be reported to the doctor, who will decide on further treatment.
