In addition, Bibloc interacts with Formetic (metformin) - it can potentiate the blood glucose-lowering effects of metformin. The bisoprolol in Bibloc may also mask the signs of hypoglycaemia, such as tachycardia, palpitations or sweating. If both medicines have been prescribed by the same doctor or another doctor who had information about the medicines you are taking, you should be careful when using both medicines together - it is best to keep a break of a few hours (at least 2-3 hours) between them and follow the doctor's instructions. When using both of these drugs, it is all the more important to monitor blood glucose levels regularly.
