The concomitant use of Venlectine and Pramolan can contribute to an excessive increase in serotonin levels in the brain, resulting in serotonin syndrome. Symptoms of this syndrome include, m.in, fever, sweating, increased heart rate, chills, increased reflexes, anxiety, mood changes, loss of consciousness, diarrhoea, (uncontrollable) muscle cramps. These symptoms may or may not occur, depending on the patient's tolerance to the drug and the doses used.

If both drugs have been prescribed by the same doctor, use them according to his or her recommendations, and if you observe worrying symptoms, contact your doctor immediately. If you have been prescribed both medicines by two different doctors, you will need to consult your doctor to see if you can use both medicines at the same time and if you need to adjust your dosage.
