From the first Rigevidon pill I got jaw and headache. I take it for a week and the pain does not go away. Do pills have an effect on migraine pains? Should I stop taking the pills?

Rigevidon is a two-component contraceptive. These drugs can increase the frequency of migraines and intensify attacks, the estrogen contained in the combined tablets is responsible for this. Their use is contraindicated in patients with migraines with aura.
If the side effects hinder your normal functioning and pose a threat to your health, you can discontinue the preparation. You should see a gynaecologist to choose a different method of contraception.
If you resign from using hormonal contraception and still want to be protected against conception, you should use a barrier method of contraception, e.g. a condom.
