Hello. I've been taking amizepine for 3 years
If there are no amizepines, I take finlepsin. I gain weight after them and I can't lose weight. I have an allergy that manifests itself strangely, my nose itches inside and out. Could it be an allergy to the drug?

In patients taking carbamazepine very commonly (may affect more than 1 in 10 patients)
allergic dermatitis, urticaria (also severe forms) may appear.
Commonly (up to 1 in 10 people) hyponatraemia may occur, which causes fluid retention, swelling, weight gain.
So, as you can see, the symptoms you experience are typical for patients using these drugs.
If these are symptoms that make it difficult for you to function, you should mention them to your attending physician at the next visit. Your doctor may decide to change the dosage regimen or change the medication to a different one if necessary. In the meantime, I encourage you to report any adverse effects you experience.
