I take daily medication. I have an important event soon, so I decided to "shorten" the cycle. Instead of 21 pills with hormones, I took 16 and then immediately placebo pills. Today I'm on the 3rd pill from the new blister. Is contraception preserved?

Protection is already provided. There is no need for an additional form of contraception in the form of a condom.
