Spider veins on the face (telangiectasias) are small, dilated blood vessels that appear on the surface of the skin. Treatment for spider veins on the face usually includes:
laser therapy - involving the use of a laser to close dilated blood vessels, or the use of creams and ointments containing vitamin K, vitamin C, retinoids or other vascular-strengthening ingredients.
There is not much scientific evidence that sulodexide used orally or topically is effective in treating spider veins on the face. Sulodexide acts primarily internally on microcirculation and larger blood vessels, not on superficial skin vessels.
