The Hitaxa summary of product characteristics does not include data on continuous treatment over many months without interruption. The drug can be used for several weeks in the case of chronic rhinitis, at the time of exposure to the allergen. The decision to implement such treatment is made by the allergist and the details of further treatment should be discussed with him.
