Vermox is a preparation available with a prescription, it can be used if such a recommendation has been issued by a specialist.
Vermox is indicated, m.in. for the treatment of human pinworm infestations, the drug can be used in children over 2 years of age.
You did not write what antibiotic your child is taking. According to the information contained in the Summary of Product Characteristics, no significant interactions of mebendazole (Vermox) with antibiotics have been demonstrated. Concomitant use of Vermox with the chemotherapeutic agent metronidazole should be avoided.
