Gynoflor Side Effect Bladder Infection (UTI)
Hello, does anyone have experience with Gynoflor? My FA prescribed it to me to support my vaginal and bladder mucosa. Unfortunately, I had more bladder infections and read that a side effect can be a bladder infection, among other things. What is the probability that I will be able to get one again and will it go away again through the usual procedures? So far, I only have experience with bacterial UTIs and through the wrong pill. Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards.

The side effects of Gynoflor described by the manufacturer include slight burning or burning (in 1% of patients), intolerance to the preparation manifested by local redness and itching has rarely been reported. Hormone-related effects may also occur, such as ovarian cancer, blood clots in the veins of the legs or lungs (venous thrombosis with embolism), stroke, possible memory loss if HRT is started after the age of 65. No effect on the development of urinary tract infections has been reported. Perhaps symptoms of tolerance were attributed as symptoms of infection. Side effects of Gynoflor are extremely rare and unlikely.
I have attached a link to check the availability of the drug and make a reservation at the pharmacy of your choice:

If you think that cystitis is a consequence of using Gynoflor, I encourage you to report adverse drug reactions. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:
