What to do if I missed the 19th pill Qlaira?
9.99 zł

Good morning. On Thursday I had full intercourse, on Friday I forgot to take the pills (from day 19), unfortunately 24 hours passed. After figuring it out, I just took the overdue pill and the right one. Unfortunately, I don't have a spare package at the moment to despair from the first pill. ( The pharmacy is already closed) Is it better to continue until the end of the package or buy a new one tomorrow morning and take the first pill?

Bleeding may be associated with a pause associated with missing a tablet. For the next 9 days, you should use an additional method of contraception.

If the bleeding is intense or does not stop, I encourage you to consult a doctor, e.g. via teleconsultation, m.in. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

Good morning. Thank you very much for your answer. The next day, after the pharmacy opened, I immediately bought a new package and took the first pill, but today (tablet no. 4) bleeding occurred. Should this be a cause for concern?

According to the manufacturer's information, if you miss a tablet from day 19 and more than 12 hours have passed, you should stop taking the tablets from the current pack and take the first tablet from the new pack as soon as possible. If your pharmacy is still open and you have the opportunity to buy another pack of medicine, or if you have already bought a new pack in the meantime, you should take your first tablet as soon as possible.

The tablets from the new pack should then be taken as usual, at the agreed time, until the end of the blister. At the same time, remember to use additional, barrier methods of contraception (e.g. a condom) during intercourse for 9 consecutive days.

The risk of pregnancy is not high, but in order to rule it out (since the intercourse took place the day before skipping the pill) or to dispel other doubts, please contact your doctor. If you are currently unable to take advantage of a stationary visit, the Gdziepolek.pl portal allows you to make an appointment for a teleconsultation:

After 10-14 days after intercourse, I recommend taking a pregnancy test. Here you can compare the prices of this type of product in online pharmacies and place your order with home delivery or pharmacy pickup:
