There is no need to peel off the fifth patch, you should peel it off on a fixed day and take a 7-day break.
When using hormonal contraception, there is no typical menstruation, but the so-called withdrawal bleeding. If you want to postpone the time of its onset by 2 weeks, you should apply the patch on the day of the patch change at the beginning of the fourth week (the fourth patch) and at the beginning of the fifth week (the fifth patch), and then take a 7-day break. If the patches have been used correctly, it is normal for irregular bleeding or spotting to occur, especially during the first few months of using the patches.
According to the manufacturer: "The shorter the interval, the greater the risk that a woman will not experience withdrawal bleeding, and that the next cycle of contraceptive patch use may include intermenstrual bleeding and spotting."

However, if spotting is accompanied by other disturbing symptoms or you have further doubts, I encourage you to contact your gynecologist. If it is not possible to take advantage of a stationary visit, the Gdziepolek.pl portal allows you to make an appointment for a teleconsultation:
