Won't the combination of Bibloc, Spironol, Polpril and Pregabalin cause a significant drop in pressure?
25.00 zł

Good morning.
I'm after acute myocarditis 😥 I have been taking bibloc 1.25 for a month. Now I was in the hospital and I am also prescribed polpril and spironol.

My blood pressure oscillates between 100/60, 90/50 and pulse 50-60

Question... Won't the use of these two additional drugs reduce my blood pressure too much?

I forgot to add that I take pregabalin 75mg twice a day for anxiety

It is true that all these drugs can lower blood pressure. In many cases, however, this is an intentional effect and you should follow the specialist's recommendations.

It is worth regularly monitoring blood pressure and pulse values, noting the results and presenting them to the doctor at the next visit.

If you are unable to consult your doctor, you can use the teleconsultation here:

If you notice any disturbing symptoms, such as excessive sleepiness, fatigue, headaches and dizziness, you should consult a doctor.

Fluid and electrolyte levels should be monitored regularly during treatment with Spironol (blood tests should be performed for electrolyte levels), especially in elderly patients and in patients with severe renal and hepatic impairment.
