In this case, I would not recommend stopping the Linefor therapy on your own, but contacting your doctor immediately. Splitting the capsules yourself is usually not recommended as you may not be able to divide the medicine in the capsule into equal parts.
If the dose is 150 mg in the first week and half a capsule (75 mg) in the next week, your doctor may prescribe Linefor 75 mg on the prescription, which is available on the market.
If the dose of the drug in the first week is to be 75 mg, and in the next week half of the capsule, i.e. 37.5 mg (a dose that is not available in any of the ready-made drugs registered in Poland), it is worth consulting a doctor to discuss the problem and possibly change the form of the drug to tablets that can be safely divided. This will avoid unnecessary interruption of therapy.
If you need to stop treatment, you should do so after consulting your doctor, gradually, over a period of at least 1 week. After abrupt discontinuation of pregabalin therapy, both after short- and long-term treatment, withdrawal symptoms such as sleep disturbances, headaches or dizziness, anxiety, nausea, convulsions, nervousness, pain, diarrhoea may occur.
If necessary, you can use a teleconsultation, e.g. via the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
