Can I get itchy skin after taking Aposerta?
After about two weeks of taking Aposerta (50mg for neurosis), my body started to itch. In addition, in some places, mainly on the hands and abdomen, mosquito bites appeared. This persisted for a while and then disappeared. Is it possible that the drug caused such side effects? I've been taking it for 3 months now, I've increased the dose according to my doctor's recommendation to 75mg, and the itching is still there.

Yes, itchy skin and hives can be side effects of Aposerta (sertraline).
According to the information in the summary of product characteristics, possible adverse reactions of sertraline include skin reactions such as pruritus, rash or hives.
Although these symptoms may be transient, their persistence for a longer period of time, even after increasing the dose, indicates a possible adverse reaction to sertraline.
In this situation, I encourage you to consult these symptoms with your attending physician, who may decide to change the treatment or adjust the dosage to minimize side effects. If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
