Muscarinine-like side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, increased peristalsis, increased secretion of bronchial mucus and saliva, bradycardia and pupil constriction may occur.
The basic effect of nicotine is to cause muscle spasms, bundle tremors and muscle weakness.
Erectile dysfunction has not been described as one of the side effects of Mestinon.
