Brintellix is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant used to treat episodes of depression in adults. It is not intended to treat coccyx pain or radiating groin pain.
Coccyx pain can have various causes, such as injuries, inflammation, cancer, or gynecological problems. Radiating pain to the groin may suggest nerve or muscle involvement in the area.
Gabapentin is a medication used to treat certain types of neuropathic pain. After consultation with a doctor, it may be added to treatment to relieve radiating pain if it is neuropathic in nature.
However, in the case of chronic coccyx pain and radiation to the groin, further diagnostics is necessary to determine the cause and implement appropriate treatment. It is recommended to consult a specialist. Symptomatic treatment with analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs can provide relief, but it will not solve the root problem.
