Can touching a methotrexate tablet harm a pregnant woman or her baby?
9.99 zł

My husband is taking Methotrexate. I'm pregnant. By accident yesterday I put his pill away, I washed my hands after about 2 minutes. I know that the drug is very toxic, could such a time be enough for the drug to somehow be absorbed into my body?

There is no way that the drug will be absorbed from the tablet, through the skin into your body and, for example, endanger you or your baby.
However, it is true that methotrexate taken orally or by injection has an embryotoxic effect and can cause serious defects in the foetus. In your case, there was no such threat. The drug could not be absorbed and did not work on the fetus. There is no need to worry.
