Can I start taking Qlaira if I am taking Drovelis placebo tablets?
9.99 zł

Hello, I'm taking Drovelis, I want to change to Qlaira. I have only taken 2 white placevo drovelis tablets (today I should take 3) and I don't know if it is better to finish this package and take Qlaira. Should you change today and instead of 3 white tablets start Qlaira?

According to the information contained in the summary of product characteristics:

'A woman should start taking Qlaira the day after taking the last active contraceptive tablet of her previous combined oral contraceptive.'

In this situation, the right solution will be to continue taking Drovelis tablets for another month until the active tablets are finished, and only then - start new tablets. Qlaira is a specific type of hormonal contraception (sequential preparation - contains a total of five types of pills with different compositions), which should be taken in a specific order on specific days of the cycle. Any deviation from the manufacturer's recommendations may cause impairment of the effectiveness of the preparation.

In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation with a gynaecologist - the service is available on our website in the e-visit tab:
