Will a Mounjaro vial last 1 month or just a week?
Hi, are the mounjaro vials for 1 month supply or only for 1 week? I want to buy the 5mg vial so how much would that total for 1 month use please?

Mounjaro is usually given once a week. The standard dosage is 2.5 mg to 5 mg once a week, depending on the patient's response to treatment and the doctor's recommendations. So you need 4 vials per month.
The vial with the medicine is disposable. The ampoule should be shaken, then the syringe should be fitted with a needle for taking the medicine, the appropriate amount of medicine should be withdrawn (usually the whole ampoule of 0.5 ml), then the needle should be changed to the one for administering the medicine, preferably as short as possible, uncock it and administer the medicine into the abdominal wall, thigh or upper arm.
