Fenistil is a preparation containing dimethindene. It is a substance with antihistamine and anti-allergic properties. It is used as a topical antipruritic and also as an oral anti-allergy drug. It is available over the counter and comes in two forms: gel and drops.

When it comes to the gel, it should be remembered that in small children it is not recommended to use it on large areas of the skin, especially in the case of wounds, burns and flooded skin conditions.

The use of Fenistil oral drops in children under 6 years of age should be done on the recommendation of a doctor.
