Whether Gabapentin causes constipation?

Good day
I have a question. I survived a bacterial infection on the skin and was left with nerve pain that I was supposed to treat with gabapentin, but then I had severe constipation and had to stop taking the medication. Does gabapentin also paralyze the intestine ? What can I do if I urgently need to take the medication ?? Thanks for the answer in advance. Best regards,

Common side effects of Gabapentin include, m.in, constipation. If you associate problems with bowel movements with the use of the drug, I encourage you to consult your doctor again. You can also use teleconsultation via e.g. the Gdziepolek.pl portal:
