The betahistine in Polvertic is an analogue of histamine, so theoretically giving it together with an antihistamine (dimenhydrinate and cynarizine in Symtiver) may reduce its effect. In practice, this interaction is considered to be of little importance - there is one report of recurrence of betahistine-controlled symptoms after the antihistamine is introduced.

However, caution should be exercised when using these medicines at the same time and if you notice a weakened effect of Polvertic, you should see a doctor.

There are no contraindications to the same-day use of Symtiver and Torecan. They do not interact with the safety or efficacy of the treatment.
