Yes, this can happen for two reasons:

1. Using hormonal contraception without a break for bleeding may promote the occurrence of mid-cycle bleeding or spotting.

2. For the first 3-4 months of using hormonal contraception, transient cycle disorders may occur, which usually manifest themselves in irregular bleeding. Usually, the problem goes away on its own. Otherwise, it is advisable to consult a gynecologist.
