Can I have cardiac problems if I am 37 years old, I do not drink alcohol and do not smoke?

I have just visited my family doctor. According to the doctor, the resting ECG showed a slight hypoxia. The doctor recommended the use of Agen half a tablet a day due to low blood pressure. She referred me to a cardiologist for further diagnostics. She mentioned that it could be coronary artery disease. I'm 37 years old, I don't drink alcohol and I don't smoke. I eat healthy. Blood tests and chest X-ray, all normal. Can I still have any cardiovascular problems?

To @Czarna:

It would be best to consult a psychiatrist. An additional medical history may be necessary.

I have visited a cardiologist who did an ECG and an echocardiography, everything is normal. Pressure in the chest still occurs at intervals of two or three days... So what could be the reason for this, if everything is fine with the heart? If it is stress, fatigue, what over-the-counter drugs can be used?

To @Czarna:

Chest pain can be caused by a number of factors, including stress, which can exacerbate existing heart problems or cause new symptoms. It is important to monitor your symptoms and inform your doctor about them.

Before you get to the doctor, it is worth paying attention to a few things:

1. Avoiding stress: Try to minimize stress by using relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or yoga.

2. Monitor symptoms: Keep an eye on when chest pains occur, how long they last, and whether they are related to specific factors such as stress, exercise, food, or body position.

3. Rest: Rest as much as possible and avoid intense physical activity, which can exacerbate symptoms.

4. Regular medication: Continue to take medications such as Cardiol C drops and do not change the dosage without consulting your doctor.

It is worth preparing for a visit to the doctor by noting all your symptoms, their severity and the circumstances in which they appear. This information will be helpful for the doctor in making a diagnosis and determining further treatment.

I have been feeling good for two weeks, I am still taking Cardiol C drops, but yesterday and today the chest pains returned. The last few days have been hard at work and very stressful. It is possible that if I had coronary artery disease, the symptoms would disappear for some time and return. I have an appointment with a cardiologist on Friday. I'm very afraid...

Those few days when I felt good were days off work. Today at work the pain has returned again, I don't know what it is caused by, whether stress or effort

To @Czarna:
Cardiol C is a preparation that relieves nervous tension and anxiety. It can therefore relieve chest pain caused by palpitations and increased heartbeat. More here:

I stopped taking the agen drug recommended by my family doctor after a week because I felt bad after it. At the pharmacy, the pharmacist recommended me Cardiol C drops and a dietary supplement with uridine and B vitamins. I have been feeling good for 3 days now. Was it the effect of these droplets or could these pains have gone away spontaneously and were the result of some neuralgia?

I'm still worried about this ECG result, can this hypoxia that supposedly came out be the cause of something other than coronary artery disease? These are the assumptions of a family doctor, I have no diagnosis. I have an appointment with a cardiologist in a month

What over-the-counter medication can you possibly take for panic attacks? Yesterday I had quite a lot of discomfort in my chest, I immediately think that I am about to have a heart attack or die, then the symptoms intensify. I don't know if I didn't develop anxiety neurosis because of the constant thought that I was very sick or that I was about to have a heart attack. Help

I have noticed that the feeling of heaviness in the chest is usually after physical exertion. My neck also hurts then, is it possible that these pains come from the thoracic spine? But then it wouldn't affect the ECG, which I'm not entirely sure if it was read correctly anyway. Maybe he cares too much about it all and the symptoms intensify on their own.

Consultation with a cardiologist and extended diagnostics to assess the condition of the circulatory system are recommended. It is also worth performing blood tests if they have not been previously ordered (analysis of blood clotting parameters, lipidogram and iron level). Cardiac disorders often accompany various diseases, but they can also have a genetic basis. Other disease entities that may cause hypoxia should be excluded.

In case of any doubts, I encourage you to use the teleconsultation with a cardiologist - the service is available on our website in the e-visit tab:
