Can I discontinue Pregabaline?

I am taking Pregabalin 75 mg 2 times a day for Bell's paresis. The paresis is resolved, but the stabbing pains in the head are not. It's been 3 weeks. Now my doctor has prescribed me Brufen 600 mg. at lunch. This seems to have more effect, but as it fades from the hour of intake, the pain starts again.
Should I discontinue Pregabalin?

Pregabalin is a prescription drug. Pregabalin should be discontinued if directed to do so by your doctor. We wrote more about it here:

Brufen is a preparation containing ibuprofen, it has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. If the drug does not have the desired pain-relieving effect, it is worth reporting it to the doctor who prescribed Brufen. A different analgesic preparation may be required.
