What to do if you accidentally take a pill on Monday Aidee marked as Sunday?
9.99 zł

Please advise, I took a pill marked Sunday on the first day of menstruation and I should have marked Monday, whether to continue on Tuesday, Wednesday already omitting the tablet marked Monday. Will contraception be effective in this situation?

The days of the week on the packaging are only to make it easier to take the pills and prevent missing a pill. They all contain the same amount of hormones, so it doesn't matter which pill you take on a given day. Today, Tuesday, you can take a pill marked as Tuesday, then Wednesday, Thursday, etc. The tablet marked as "Monday" - i.e. the one at the beginning of the blister can be taken at the end of the package, as the 21st - then the protection will be maintained.
It is important to take the tablets regularly - every day, at about the same time of day for 21 days. Then, after a 7-day break, start a new pack. Then protection will be provided.
