Hello, I got a referral for a stool test for helicobacter. Today I took a ranigast pill (I don't take it often) and I just read that you shouldn't take it before the test. How many days do I have to wait to get tested?

According to currently available information, gastric acid suppressants and antacids should be discontinued 7-14 days before the test.
