Can mood disorders be associated with the use of Evra patches?

I've been wearing the Evra Patch for almost a year now (continuously because endometriosis and very painful periods) I feel like the first day of break I feel bad about myself, depressed, craving anything, it happens quite often.. No context in my life could be the cause. Is it possible that this is the Patch? What can be done about it?

Hormonal contraception can cause mood disorders and increase depression. It is difficult to assess whether in your case another contraceptive will be free of such side effects. It is advisable to consult a gynaecologist and assess the possibility of continuing treatment. It may be advisable to switch to another medication.
