Is it normal for my period to last longer after starting Aidee?

I started taking the pills as the doctor said on the first day of the menstrual cycle, Today is the seventh day, my period usually lasts four days and ends on the fifth day, Today is the seventh day and every once in a while I still bleed. Is this normal or could it be related to?

Yes, this could be your body's physiological response to starting to use Aidee pills. Hormonal contraception very often causes transient cycle disorders (such as spotting, irregular bleeding) at the beginning of use. Usually, the problem goes away on its own after 3-4 months. If the situation intensifies (e.g. pain or bleeding intensifies), it is advisable to consult a gynaecologist.
