While taking Zoely, I have a heavy cycle that lasts more than 5 days, is this normal?

Good evening with zoely I have an abundant cycle the same and it lasts more than 5 days and normal???

Heavy menstrual bleeding lasting more than 5 days while taking Zoely pills may be normal, especially at the beginning of hormone therapy. Some women experience irregular bleeding or spotting in the first few months of using birth control pills.

However, if heavy bleeding persists for a long time or causes discomfort, it is worth consulting a doctor. This may require adjusting the dosage or changing the tablets used.

In general, abnormal menstruation is defined as bleeding that occurs more frequently than every 21 days or less than every 35 days and lasts more than 8 days. However, if you are using a hormonal contraceptive such as Zoely, these norms may vary.
