Hello, can a pre-infarction state last for two weeks? I've been experiencing chest pain since then, it's just not severe and rather goes away after about 10 minutes to 20. I have temporary nausea sometimes and dizziness. I got a referral from my GP for an X-ray, but until then I'm dying of uncertainty about what might be wrong with me

Pre-myocardial infarction is characterized by diffuse chest pain, which usually disappears after several minutes. In some cases, the symptoms of pre-infarction may last longer (several hours). Other symptoms of pre-myocardial infarction include, m.in, paleness, nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, anxiety, dizziness, arrhythmia, weakness.
In case the pains have been recurring for 2 weeks, I encourage you to consult your doctor. If necessary, you can also take advantage of a teleconsultation via e.g. the Gdziepolek.pl portal:

The causes of chest pain also include diseases such as gastrointestinal reflux, anxiety neurosis, arrhythmia, m.in. In order to determine the causes of your ailments, you should consult a doctor.
X-ray is an X-ray examination. Performed in the chest area, it allows for quick and non-invasive assessment of, m.in, the condition of the lungs, respiratory tract, heart, vessels and bones in the area between the neck and the diaphragm. After the examination, the consultation should be repeated for further diagnostics. In order to assess the functioning of the heart and detect any abnormalities, an ECG test is usually performed.
