Am I protected if I take birth control pills at 11:30 a.m. and vomit at 2 a.m.?

Good morning, I'm taking birth control pills, I had vomiting, there was no sexual intercourse. I always take pills at 11:30 a.m. and I vomited around 2 a.m. The question is whether the contraception still works and I can continue to take the pill at 11.30 or is it better to take the pill earlier?

Protection has been maintained. You can continue taking the tablets at 11:30 a.m.
Protection could be reduced if vomiting occurs within 4 hours of taking the tablet. Since in your case the vomiting occurred after more than 4 hours, the medication has long since been absorbed and works properly. You are fully protected.
