Good morning, how many days should a child use Taromentin 140ml, if the doctor prescribed it for a 7-year-old child to take it 2x7.5ml, the doctor did not say for how many days, and on the package it says to use the suspension within 7 days. Apparently, antibiotics should be taken until the end of the bottle, so it would be enough for my baby for 9 days. Please advise.

Usually, an antibiotic with this composition is used as a 7-day treatment (which is also indicated by the shelf life of the suspension after preparation). There are also situations in which the doctor prescribes a longer treatment, e.g. 10 days, in which case an appropriate number of packages of the drug is prescribed, taking into account the limitations of the shelf life of the suspension. The length of treatment and the recommended dose of antibiotic depend on the type of infection and the general course of the disease. Do not administer the medicine for more than 2 weeks (medical supervision is necessary if you do not respond to treatment). In case of any doubts, it is advisable to consult the attending physician again. During antibiotic therapy, it is necessary to use probiotics, e.g.:
