The "morning after pills" available on the market contain various active substances: uripristal acetate, e.g. EllaOne, a tablet used within 120 hours of unprotected intercourse, or levnorgestrel, e.g. Escapelle, this substance is effective within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse. If the preparations have been used correctly, they will be effective.
If you forget to take your withdrawal bleeding and continue to take Dionelle continuously, your emergency contraception will not be affected. If you miss the 7-day break while using hormonal contraception, you may experience bleeding or mid-cycle spotting.
